Our Personal Fitness Training Team team holds a Masters in Human Performance and Heath Promotion countless qualifications in physiotherapy, exercise science, performance and rehabilitation. We have a combined total of over 100 years developing exercise programs for the general public, amateur and elite athletes.   Our Personal Fitness Training Sessions are for those people who have no specific medical concerns and want professional support to compete in a sporting event, get leaner, toned, drop a dress or trouser size and or get in condition for a life event.

As a body optimisation service the difference between our service and other offerings is that our sessions are tailored to meet your exact requirements whether it is for injury management reducing fat, toning up for an forthcoming event, sculpting your body or optimising your function and overall wellness.

As part of your induction and to get a clear baseline, you will receive a complementary physiotherapy screening so you can better understand your aches, pains, medical concerns and how they may effect your training and exercise. At your induction we combine goal setting, nutrition analysis  and detailed static and dynamic postural measures. This session includes selected body metrics such as body fat and blood pressure combined with other specific assessments of how well you move to determine where your strengths and weaknesses in flexibility, strength, cardiovascular fitness and posture lie. After goal setting and collating the information from your assessment we design a bespoke exercise program.  Our programs are also designed to address your specific fitness and weight loss goals in addition to any injury issues our team have identified in your assessment.

 


 

Screening And Expertise

We specialise in designing bespoke personal training and exercise programs for those people looking to shed pounds, improve their muscle tone and reduce body fat. For athletes we can even incorporate a medical measure of body composition using a DEXA body scan to set a baseline of your composition before you commence your professionally designed training plan.

At our clinic / studio you will receive a screening by a qualified physiotherapist prior to you beginning your exercise routine so that you can be assured that you are getting the right type of exercise for you irrespective of your training, injury or disease history. Even if you are new to exercise we can guide and instruct you on the finer details of training to achieve your goals.

 

How Does It Work ?

When you arrive for your first session we conduct a full musculoskeletal and fitness screening. In this screening we can determine which areas of your body’s muscles are weak which are tight and we use this information to tailor your exercise program so it is specific to you. We also ask you to complete an online food diary so we can see how, when and what you are eating. Here’s an example of our electronic food diary which you can access through our app.

 

What Does My Personal Training Program Look Like ?

After the first session we take the results of your physical assessment and design an exercise program based on our findings.  Whether you want to loose weight, tone up or improve your posture we’ve got you covered. Our written programs are updated every six weeks depending on your training experience. Those individuals with greater training experience may need to change their programs more frequently to allow for continued adaption to the workouts. Here’s an example of a workout which you can access through our app.
